YCC Day 2025
Caritas promotes authentic human development. This means development of the whole person. It provides for their economic, cultural, political, social and spiritual wellbeing.
YCC Day is a special day when Caritas partners with Catholic schools across Aotearoa New Zealand to stand in solidarity, raising funds and awareness for a selected focus school in need.
But what exactly is YCC Day?
The letters remind us of the purpose:
YCC Day was celebrated on Friday, 27 June and we supported St Leo’s Secondary School in Kiribati.
We helped the students and teachers achieve something they’ve always dreamed of — permanent classrooms where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
In this jubilee year, we came together as Pilgrims of Hope, walking with faith and love, bringing change where it was needed most.
