STATEMENT: In memory of Fr. Pierre El Rahi - Lebanese priest killed in conflict

The following is a statement from Caritas Internationals following the killing of Lebanese priest. Fr. Pierre El Rahi, who was on his way to assist parishioners when he was hit by an Israeli tank round. He later died from his wounds.

Fr. El Rahi worked closely with Caritas Lebanon. His death is a sign of how quickly the regional conflict has spiralled since the US and Israel attacked Iran.
