Case Study

In the midst of conflict, Caritas staff continue to offer protection, safety and refuge to others.

When war broke out in the Holy Land in October 2023, escalating across the region over ensuing months, the international Caritas network provided emergency shelter and refuge, as well as food and water, bedding, clothing, and other essentials – to those in need of assistance.  In situations of extreme distress, Caritas is there providing emotional and psychosocial support to those in need – upholding their human dignity and a safe place to call home.
