Social Justice Week
Imagine Peace for All – Pohewatia te Rangimārie mō te Katoa
Sunday, 7 – Saturday, 13 September
As we enter the final year of our peace-focused journey, Social Justice Week 2025 invites students and schools to explore practical ways to build peace together—inspired by faith, action, and community.
This year’s theme is brought to life through our new Peacebuilding Blueprints, a structured week-long resource guiding students through five key aspects of peace:
The resource has been thoughtfully tailored for three learning levels: Lower Primary (Years 1–4), Upper Primary (Years 5–8), and Seniors (Years 9–13). Each daily blueprint includes:
RE Curriculum Connection
Peace Focus Overview
Key Messages
Scripture
Catholic Social Teaching focus
Caritas Case Studies
See–Judge–Act Reflection
Faith in Action follow-up activities
Pilgrims of Hope Peace Passport engagement
We invite your school to take part in this rich and faith-filled experience as we continue to imagine peace for all—and take meaningful steps toward making it a reality.
