Cambodia/Thailand border crisis

Along Cambodia’s northern border, fighting has forced more than 100,000 people from their homes.

Children, older people and those with disabilities are among those evacuated to crowded makeshift camps. Food, clean water and privacy are scarce. People are afraid to return home.

We’re making a difference. Providing life-saving shelter and supplies to the most vulnerable affected by this conflict.

This crisis is evolving rapidly. The need is urgent.

Caritas works with trusted local partners to reach those most at risk. This including women-headed households, older people and children.

Your gift will help provide urgent essentials, including:

Emergency shelter

Access to basic shelter is essential, especially during the rainy season. We’re providing building material and other supplies.

Hygiene and sanitation supplies

Daily essentials that sustain life and restore hope.

Emergency food

Access to emergency food for families - especially milk for infants.

Our partners are there and ready to help.

Caritas partner, Development and Partnership in Action is a Cambodian NGO that has been supporting and empowering poor and vulnerable Cambodians, in rural areas since before the conflict. They were already present, with many projects in affected areas along the border with Thailand when the conflict started.

With their experience and connection to local authorities, they are well-placed to provide urgent aid to those that need it most. But your support is just as vital. Your gift helps them continue this essential work in times of urgent need.

Under challenging conditions, our local partners continue to deliver life-saving aid.

Your generous donation will deliver life-saving essentials like food, hygiene and shelter to Cambodian families displaced by conflict.
