Income Generation and Capacity Building for Women

HAFOTI provides training, marketing opportunities and revolving loans to rural women to generate income. In 2010, 500 women improved their packaging of food products such as coconut oil and fruit preserves. A contract with the Timor Leste Ministry of Commerce, Tourism and Industry has boosted sales of the preserves in schools. We have worked with HAFOTI since 2004.
