Education

Education helps student develop their ability to continue learning about and applying principles for justice and peace.
Our Education staff provide resources and presentations for schools, visit schools, introduce international speakers, conduct leadership training days, and encourage action for a fair and just world.

Our resources draw on the directions indicated by the Religious Education curriculum and the wider New Zealand schools’ curriculum. Resources are aimed mainly at teachers and students in Catholic schools. However, many are suitable for a wider audience. Special resources are provided for Lent in Autumn and Social Justice Week in September.

We encourage fundraising by schools to support our partnerships and as part of education for justice. We also provide fundraising resources to help schools do this.
