Caritas published its foundational Pacific environment report Small yet strong: Voices from Oceania on the environment on St Francis Day – 4 October 2014. Read more here or read the full report here.

This is a forerunner to an annual ‘State of the environment in Oceania’ report which will be published each St Francis Day – the first of these will be launched on 4 October 2015.

Caritas’ environmental advocacy includes raising awareness on the impact of climate change on many of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities.  We have also written submissions on biofuels and raised concerns about the future for those likely to be displaced by climate change, especially in the Pacific.
