Caritas’ work for peace is inextricably linked to development and seeking justice. Our two focus areas are cluster munitions & land mines and Peace Lamps for the Holy Land.
All of Caritas’ work can be considered as directed towards establishing peace, which the Church understands as ‘an order based on justice and charity’

As well as campaigning on specific peace and disarmament issues, Caritas educates and informs people of underlying Catholic principles relating to peacemaking and peacebuilding.
