Caritas provides a range of resources for schools to educate for justice, promote action and encourage fundraising.

A selection of Caritas school resources.

Our resources draw on the directions indicated by the Religious Education curriculum and the wider New Zealand schools’ curriculum. Resources are aimed mainly at teachers and students in Catholic schools, but are often suitable for a wider audience.

Other Resources

Caritas has available A Guide to Caritas for Schools (free), a handy 52-page, A5-size booklet all about us. It contains information, contacts and inspiration to help your work in schools. It is currently out of print but we will be printing an updated version in 2015.

In 2014 we published a Caritas has developed an 80 page guide for teachers in ways to nurture kaitiakitanga (stewardship) of the Warawara Forest in Northland. It is called Te Warawara: Te Wairua o te iwi o Te Rarawa. Download it here.

We also have other materials such as booklets, posters, DVDs, CDs, Koha boxes and badges.

We have limited numbers of items available, but will supply them while stocks last.

Do not send money with your order. We will invoice your school for the purchases when we send the items. Prices include GST. Our invoice will also include the cost of standard postage and packaging.

Please note: you can make your own copies of the CD ROMs for school use.
