Submission on Minimum Wage (Abolition of Age Discrimination) Bill 2006
Summary
Caritas supports removing wage discrimination between 16-17 year-olds and those over 18.
Caritas would also support wage protections being offered to those under 16.
Caritas is concerned by the employment conditions faced by many young workers.
