Our emergency response

In any emergency, our primary goal is to express solidarity and meet the immediate needs of those who suffer when disaster hits.

Our strong network of partners and sister agencies is in place, ready to respond quickly to provide life-saving assistance when disasters strike. Even if we haven't launched an Appeal, if you want funds to go to particular emergency, we can usually get them there through our grassroots contacts.

Caritas remains working in countries long after the headlines have disappeared, to continue rebuilding lives and provide hope. As Caritas Samoa Director Tini Tuala told villagers after the 2009 Pacific tsunami, ‘We are here for all times.’
